First Grade Birch Trees

First grade students painted birch trees in snow during the month of February. Students began by painting their background using only warm or cool colors. Students then painted 3 or 4 birch trees on a separate sheet of paper. When both papers had dried, students cut-out their birch trees and glued them onto their backgrounds.
