5th Grade Aurora Borealis

In February, fifth grade students began exploring watercolor techniques. They learned about the Northern Lights and created a watercolor painting to simulate the sky during the Aurora Borealis. When their watercolor painting dried, they used tempera paint to create a silhouetted landscape.
